CBEST Exam Info
The CBEST (California Basic Educational Skills Test) is administered throughout Oregon and California for people gain a teaching credential in order to teach at public schools. The goal of the exam is to provide basic proficiency in mathematics, reading, and writing. Test-takers may use the four hours to work on any or all of the three sections. You can take exam as many times as you want, and passing all three sections in one sitting is not necessary, but a $105 registration fee for computer based testing, $41 paper-based testing, must be paid each time the test is taken.
