Applications submitted to OCTC are reviewed immediately. Qualified candidates are invited to interview within two weeks of submitting an application. Upon acceptance into the program, Oakland City Teacher Corps teachers meet with principals to begin the placement process that allows candidates and schools to determine the strongest possible placement match within the district.
